Women's Health Occupational Therapy

I help women going through perimenopause to move, sleep and manage stress more skillfully so that they can live life to the fullest.

While this is a normal life phase, some common experiences can be challenging.  Women in their 40s, 50s and beyong can experience changes in sleep, hot flashes, mood swings, pelvic floor changes and brain fog.  These experiences can have an impact on our day to day activities.  That is where occupational therapy can help.  I offer:

  • Sleep interventions, including cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia
  • Education to help you navigate this journey as smoothly as possible
  • Stress management tools
  • Tools to help you breathe more effectively
  • Practical strategies to manage pelvic floor changes
  • Meaning making as you go through this developmental stage
  • Helping you set up a sustainable exercise program
I offer occupational therapy in Ottawa and using telehealth throughout Ontario.  In the Fall 2019, I am excited to be offering a sleep program.
